As per Directive No. 5R4 — Estate Funds and Banking, trustees and administrators must complete the following documents and send them to their Office of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy (OSB) regional coordinators no later than May 31, 2010.

  1. Request for Bank Confirmation (Schedule 1) for each financial institution holding trust accounts.
  2. Annual Banking Report (Schedule 2) for all trust accounts open as of April 30, 2010

To assist you, we are placing the following tools at your disposal:

Also, some amendments to the Directive occurred. For example:

  • Former Schedule 3 in the Annual Banking Report has been renumbered Schedule 2.
  • The licence number of each trustee included in the Annual Banking Report must be listed on the first page of Schedule 2.
  • Options are now included in Parts 6 and 7 of Schedule 2 to guide trustees in indicating the appropriate type of deposit for each bank account.
