Resources for creditors

Important: To recover money owed to you, the first step you must take is to complete and submit a Proof of Claim to the trustee. If you are a creditor involved in a bankruptcy or a proposal, the trustee will send you the form as well as information on the process of recovering the money owed to you.

Bankruptcy
A trustee has sent you a notice of bankruptcy on behalf of a business or individual that owes you money

Consumer Proposals
You have received a proposal from a trustee representing an individual who owes you money

Commercial (Division I) Proposals
You have received a proposal from a trustee representing a business that owes you money

CCAA Filings
A company that owes you money has filed under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act
